Ed Zukel joined LifeSafer in 2022 and is currently the Business Development Manager covering several midwestern states, responsible for growing ignition interlock referrals throughout his territory. His primary focus is consulting with criminal defense attorneys, judges, court clerks, probation departments, and treatment providers—differentiating LifeSafer from its competitors.

Ed started working in the ignition interlock industry in 2016. Prior to that, he held sales and account management roles for several leading companies in the criminal justice technology space. He is also well-versed in electronic monitoring, GPS tracking, and remote alcohol testing technologies. He’s worked in the public sector, initiating and managing one of the first House Arrest programs in the state of Kansas back in the late 1980s.
